Molly Edmans - FLORA
My work is inspired by Petra Collins, I particularly admire her bold creative style which stands out from other fashion photographers. In addition, I particularly aspire to her feminine dreamlike approach which is an insight into why I used female models.
My work is named Flora which originates from Gucci’s ‘iconic’ floral print which was first revealed in 1966. I really enjoy and love the history of Gucci and how obscure it is from the other luxury industries. I think the floral print was fitting at the time approaching spring/summer, especially bringing that fresh, bright feeling.

Nathan Davis - Nature Taking Over
Over the lockdowns, I’d been doing a lot of walking through different countryside areas. As I went into my second year I started photographing a lot of buildings and derelict buildings that nature had taken over which is something that has really intrigued me over the past few months especially. However, I then started researching many different ways to present my work such as screen printing and spending a lot of time in the darkroom trying out different techniques which I’ve learned over my time there. Every single brick showed a different detail within my screen printing and darkroom photographs which is what I found so interesting. My aim is to finally bring attention to old buildings that nature has taken over and to showcase them the best I can.
Inspired By Bernd and Hilla Becher

Lewis Howard - Motion Colour
For my exhibition, I wanted to focus on how substances like ink and oil react in water. I was influenced by advertising photographers and how they use water effects. So I used different materials such as inks, oil, and paints and then mixed them with water to create unique shapes of various colours for potential wall art. Through editing, I changed and adjusted colours to make the images brighter and more vibrant, as I really wanted to experiment with diverse ways of making patterns and shapes.

Evie Glover - Fashion as the Focus
Fashion as the focus is a showcase of various fashion photography themes ranging from high-end fashion photography to obscure studio fashion photography.
My photograms are inspired by the artist Melissa Wilgis who specialises in capturing still life fashion in the darkroom. For the gloves, the photograms are overlapping each other making an eye-catching pattern that is printed onto the gloves by the process of dye sublimation (using a heat press).

Amelia Tunstall
In my final project, I have explored a wide range of cities and towns to research architecture photography. It is quite amazing how many beautiful buildings there are if you take the time to stop and look. Different photographers have inspired me to try new techniques and different types of lighting while taking photos or editing the photos. I used layering techniques with darkroom prints and paintbrush effects to make the photos stand out more.
A major challenge was trying not to rip the photos when putting them on the wood because they were so fragile.

Haydn Webber - The Window to the Soul
The window to the soul project was a showcase of animals' emotions which are in captivity. For me, these photographs were an eye-opener into how much emotion you can get by just an animal's eye. I want people to realise with these images that there is beauty in wildlife and that it should be more appreciated and we should protect it.

Charlotte Latham - Sports in Motion
The theme for my final project was sports because I enjoy watching motor racing and understanding the details and technical meanings of the race. Also, I enjoy racing because I like how the race plays out because they aren’t always predictable. I first took an interest in motorsports in 2019. One of the main influences on this project and my interest in motorsports photography is Formula 1.  A photographer who interests me is Kym Illman. He is a well-known Formula 1 photographer who has inspired my work. As well as racing, I wanted to capture a range of different sports so I photographed golf as well and then I photographed tennis to add to the range of sports.

Kaitlyn Hudson-Bath - Nature… Up Close And Personal!

For my final project, I chose the theme of wildlife and nature. I was drawn to this theme because I love seeing and interacting with animals, of all different species, in their natural surroundings.
When researching my chosen theme, I was drawn to and inspired by the work and images of the photographer, Frans Lanting. He creates amazingly bright and colourful images inspired by nature. I really like viewing nature and wildlife up close and capturing detailed images, so for this project I wanted to shoot nature photography but with an abstract twist.

Jazz Myatt - Capturing Live Music
Throughout this project I have photographed as many bands as I could, creating a series of images that I have taken at live music events. I got to photograph so many of my favourite bands during this project and I have produced some of my favourite images that I have ever produced. This is the area of photography in which I hope to get a career and will try my hardest to pursue that.

Tilly James- Finding Places To Feel Good.
The theme for my final project focused on health and beauty by capturing documentary-style shots inside beauty salons. I captured pictures along the theme of self-care. I managed to capture images that are based around shops that sell cosmetics, face masks, and skincare items. I wanted to take pictures of beauty products and salons because I enjoy the comfort of having my hair done or putting on a facemask. I took inspiration from many photographers, for example, Will Styler, Michelle Monique, and Annabelle Breaky.

Leah Jackson- On track to success
Throughout my final project, I have experimented with motorsport photography and have developed a strong passion for the industry. My series of final images illustrate the hard work and commitment that comes alongside motorsport racing. I have worked with Andy Whale for most of my project documenting his development within the motorbike road racing community and following his progression in his races. This project has also given me several opportunities that have helped to improve my photographic skills as well as my social skills too. My final project has been inspired by several motorsport photographers such as Amanda Leeming who specialises at the Isle Of Man TT Road Races and captures some eye-opening moments of each rider. Her work gave me the motivation to expand my love for motorsport, show my talents and showcase the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.

Toni Cooke - Trapped
For this project “Trapped”, the focus was on sustainability and how we are getting trapped by this unsustainable world. It was about making people aware that there are alternatives to shopping in mainstream stores and how we must slow down fast fashion. I used pops of colour and bold backgrounds to make the images have a lot of detail.

GINA SMITH - Human Nature
Human nature was a project I created in order to convey the message of how humans and nature link. Both humans and nature have a life cycle so scientifically we are linked. For my final images, I wanted to have a mixture of human features alongside nature. My aim was to promote how much we need nature to heal our minds and bodies. There are certain photographers who inspired my work, for example, Marc Quinn, Ansel Adams, Roxanne Worthington, and Anna Atkins. Marc Quinn's work originates from the irises and my project started on irises then I broadened my concept as I saw that humans' eyes looked like landscapes which are where I got my final concept from.
